I’ve been working as an art director since 1990 and, almost by chance, I started taking photographs during a trip in 1996.
Since then, photography has become an increasingly important part of my work, alongside graphic design, which remains my background and one of my passions.
I’ve never had a particularly academic approach to photography. I work mostly on instinct, favouring aesthetics, emotion and what an image is able to convey over rules and technique for their own sake.
I enjoy photographing people, observing what happens around me, and working quickly and naturally.
In this portfolio you’ll find many travel photographs, perhaps more than a strictly edited portfolio should contain.
Many of those images, however, have a strong personal and emotional value for me.
